Using our in-house UKAS accredited Materials Laboratory, we are able to undertake the necessary site testing and investigation such as coring and DCP analysis. We have a wide range of specialist equipment enabling us to undertake only the appropriate testing to support our investigations.

Although apparently simple in both form and function, pavements are among the most complex of engineering structures. Many years of research have been devoted to understanding the structural behaviour, material properties, service loads and environmental effects that affect pavement design and performance.

Pavement Engineering is a discipline that has come into its own over the past decade as major changes in approach to the design, specification and procurement of highway works, together with an increased emphasis on network maintenance management, have opened up opportunities for innovation and development.

As a result there has been an increase in the level of technical input required for the delivery of effective solutions, considering factors such as whole life costing, sustainability, construction methods and the need to maintain network availability and reliability across the range of Pavement Engineering processes.
