We provide specialist consultancy services to clients procuring long-term contracts including privately financed highway projects. We also work as part of contracting consortia tendering or operating these projects through all project lifecycle stages. Over more than 15 years we have worked on private finance (PFI/PPP/DBFO) projects in this sector and offer an unrivalled modelling capability to suit these situations.

- To provide strategic and specialist asset management and procurement advice, set up and manage data room systems, and procure asset data surveys, acting as client’s Technical Advisor
- To support tendering consortia with highway asset management, data and systems, asset engineering solutions, sustainability, and biodiversity and environment services from our specialised expertise. Also an awareness of industry best practice, risk and cost issues
- To provide additional resources to supplement client, and consortia tendering and operational teams, working in partnership for specific projects

- Project and programme management: including Business Cases, research and technical modelling for clients such as DfT, Highways Agency and local Authorities
- Asset Management Plan development: assisting local authorities in all stages of the development of HAMP/TAMPs
- Local authority highway asset valuations: (following CIPFA guidance where applicable)
- Service Level Development: in consultation with stakeholders, and the development of models for reporting, monitoring and the management of improvements
- Value Management and Option Appraisal: developing and facilitating value management and option appraisal processes for highway assets
- Highway Maintenance Plans: assistance in the production of Highway Maintenance Plans and other operational management documents
- Performance Reviews: undertaking performance reviews and developing improvement plans, including the provision of advice and action plans to bring about improvements in national and local performance indicators
