What CBC can offer

We can organise a variety of training from individual coaching to high profile conferences. This is delivered by our specialist consultants who have many years of experience in facilitating workshops and group training events. Specifically we can offer the following:

• Conferences: CBC has organised a successful annual Highway Asset Management conference at the ICE, One Great George Street, since 2005. The conferences have been jointly supported by the ICE and CHIT and have included several prominent UK government ministers and shadow politicians, internationally renowned speakers and a wide audience from the UK and overseas public and private sector. The events are always highly participative, with lively question and answer sessions, interesting trade stands, and covering themes such as:

           o Delivering Service to the Customer

• Office Open Days: CBC can organise open days for public and private sector organisations including a series of specialist lectures and networking sessions, exhibition stands and an official photographer.
  
• Specialist Seminars: CBC can organise seminars in client offices or in established training centres.
• Specialist training courses: in the following subjects
           o Biodiversity and Environment legislation
           o Biodiversity & Environment: protected species tool box talks
           o Sustainability principles in Highway organisations
           o Highway Asset and Risk Management

CBC encourages the development and training of our staff to ensure we remain leaders in the pavement engineering field. We work closely with Government Authorities and Universities in developing  research projects and to ensure a future supply of pavement engineers into our industry.
